Cultivations is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
We work with, and for, people within our society who are less able, disadvantaged or elderly.

At present, our varied and interesting work includes:

  • The development of an initiative involving young offenders
  • Organising an annual regional flower show
  • The administration and delivery of workshops and seminars
  • Project evaluations
  • Research into all aspects of working with nature
  • Arranging Conferences that promote and inform people about the benefits of Therapeutic Horticulture.
  • Our small organisation is staffed by qualified professionals who have many years' experience of working with the vulnerable and less able in our society.
  • Our patron is The Marquess of Hertford of Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.

Cultivations' Objects

To preserve, protect and strengthen a sense of health and well being in those who are in particular, but not exclusively, less able, disadvantaged or elderly through the use of therapeutic horticulture within the natural environment.

To advance the education of the public regarding Therapeutic Horticulture.

Mission Statement

As an organisation we concentrate on promoting, advising and informing people about the therapeutic and educational benefits of working with nature.

Our aim is to encourage people to become involved in any form of horticultural, environmental or conservation activity to help enhance, improve and increase their sense of personal awareness, health and well being.
