Cultivations, as a charity, aims to help people increase their health and well being by engaging with nature in all its forms
Who do we work with?
The disadvantaged, disaffected, less-able and vulnerable in society.
Those challenged by:
- Learning Difficulties
- Mental Health/Stress
- Physical Disabilities
The Criminal Justice Sector:
- Ex/Offenders Male and Female
- Youth Offenders
- NEETS (Not in Education, Employment or Training)
- Rehabilitation and Reparation
- Alcohol and Substance misuse
What do we do?
Green up and Clean up Hands-on Services
- Horticulture, Environmental, Forestry and Conservation activities are used as the main focus for re-engagement.
- Church yard maintenance, grounds' clearance, drystone walling, hedging, ditch and path clearing, growing plants, mowing and planting are all tasks carried out by the workforce.
- Team work and one to one sessions are effective.

Cultivations operates throughout England and Wales.
Successful inclusion of the disadvantaged, disaffected and less able is achieved by creating opportunities for participants within the local and wider community, including the specific projects:

Is Cultivations involved with Education and Professionalism?
Cultivations is committed to increasing the numbers of those interested in training
in the field of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture at all levels.
Those interested in volunteering are welcome.
We educate and network throughout England and Wales by means of:
- Focus Meetings
- Trainings
- Conferences
- Consultancy work
We promote the benefits of working with nature by raising awareness about the accredited courses available.
